Play Airlines flies to Boston and Washington
PLAY, a low-cost Icelandic airline, will serve two North American cities, Boston and Baltimore-Washington, from its base in Reykjavik next summer.
It will then be able to offer its French customers the opportunity to travel to the United States, from France to Boston or Baltimor-Washington via a connection in Reykjavik: with 4 weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Baltimore-Washington (BWI) from April 20, 2022; and with 4 weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) to Boston (BOS) from May 11, 2022.
On the two segments, France-Iceland and Iceland-USA, flights will be provided respectively by Airbus A321neo and A320neo. Travelers can now book their tickets on the PLAY website departing from Paris-CDG, at a promotional launch rate of 139 euros one-way.
PLAY is a new low cost airline currently operating flights between Iceland and Europe. It is based at Keflavík International Airport in Reykjavik and started operations recently in June 2021. It currently operates 4 flights per week, on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, between Paris-CDG (Terminal 2B) and Reykjavik, in Single-class A321neo with 192 seats.
