Air France increases the number of its flights between Paris and New York
The airline Air France will offer from the end of March 7 flights a day between Paris and New York, six from CDG and one from Orly.
Currently offering three daily rotations between its base at Paris-CDG and New York-JFK airport, the French flag carrier will add four at the start of the 2022 summer season, with all flights to be operated by Boeing 777-300ER capable of accommodating 4 passengers in Première, 28 in Business class, 58 in Premium and 206 in Economy, or in 777-200ER (40+24+216). On this route, departures will then be scheduled at 8:00 a.m., 11:20 a.m., 2:20 p.m., 3:40 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. (arrivals staggered between 10:15 a.m. and 9:50 p.m.), return flights leaving the United States at 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 10:30 p.m. and 11:50 p.m. (arrivals the next day staggered between 5:55 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.)
Air France will also be back between Paris-Orly and New York-JFK on March 27, 2022, with a daily flight by 777-200ER taking off at 3:10 p.m. to arrive at 5:45 p.m., and leaving the USA at 7:30 p.m. to land the following day at 9:30 a.m. The flight time in both cases is about 8 hours.
The SkyTeam alliance company offers this route as part of its transatlantic joint venture with Delta Air Lines, facing competition at all airports from American Airlines, French bee, La Compagnie and United Airlines.
Air France also flies from CDG to the airports of Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington; it also lands at JFK from Guadeloupe and Martinique, and connects Los Angeles from Tahiti.
