Delta Air Lines: Cracked windshield of one of its planes
In the morning, this Monday April 4, a technical incident occurred on one of the flights of the airline company Delta Air Lines.
Less than an hour after takeoff of flight 760, which should connect Salt Lake City Airport to Washington Dulles, the pilot of a Boeing 757 was reportedly forced to turn around, because one of the layers of the windshield of the plane would have cracked.
The plane had a cracked windshield. This caused the pilot to land the plane in Denver. The passengers were not safe because the heating element broke down. Airport spokesman Melissa B. Long says there was no problem for the passengers and the airline is arranging for another plane to pick them up in Chicago. The airport’s Crash Fire Rescue unit is on standby but isn’t needed.
