After Rome, ITA Airways flies to New York-JFK from Milan
ITA Airways has announced the creation and launch of a new airline linking Milan to New York, a few weeks after having launched flights on the route serving the American destination from Rome.
The Italian national carrier has indeed started its flights to New York JFK airport the day before yesterday, and from now on, ITA Airways will operate five weekly frequencies to this destination from its Milan-Malpensa hub. Passengers travel on board an A330-200 tri-class aircraft (17 + 20 + 219).
This flight will take place on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, at 02:40 to land at the American airport at 17:00. The return flight is scheduled at 8:55 p.m. and will arrive at the Italian airport at 11:05 a.m.
It should be noted that other air operators are present on this air route, namely, United Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Neos, La Compagnie and Emirates, all serving flights departing from Newark airport.
For ITA Airways, this connection is in addition to that operated by the national carrier since the beginning of the year to JFK from Rome-Fiumicino. The Italian company created to replace Alitalia, aims to reach forty-two weekly flights to the United States by next August.
