JetBlue launches long-haul flight from Boston to London-Gatwick
JetBlue has enriched its international flight schedule with a new connection from Boston.
JetBlue Airways served a few days ago its inaugural London-Gatwick flight in the United Kingdom from Boston. Another flight will be added to its program, serving Heathrow from the airport of the city of Massachusetts, from next September.
Since last Thursday, the American company has been providing one flight a day to London airport from its base at Boston-Logan airport. It uses and operates its A321neo type aircraft for this purpose, which has a two-class configuration and can carry 138 passengers in total. The flight departs daily at 6.37pm and arrives in London the following day at 6.35am. It then takes off again at 12:25 p.m. to land at 3:13 p.m.
On this air route, JetBlue Airways faces competition indirectly from several air operators including American Airlines, United and Delta Air Lines, including Britisu Airways and Virgin Atlantic serving London-Heathrow from other cities in the United States.
