Delta Air Lines announces its return between Colorado Springs – Atlanta
Delta Air Lines will be back on the Colorado-Atlanta axis. June 6, 2023 will mark the official return of the American company to this route, which was inaugurated in 1997 before its suspension in March 2020 after the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
Delta Air Lines is the third operator to announce the resumption of flights from Colorado, after Southwest and Frontier Airlines. This airport recorded a decline in traffic during this summer compared to the high season of 2021 (-5.5% in July). But he expects the numbers to turn positive before the end of the year, especially after the planned resumption of flights by Southwest from San Diego next November.
As a reminder, the airline Delta Air Lines regularly serves Salt Lake City from Colorado airport by offering three daily departures, providing direct flights aboard E175 tri-classes.
Delta’s return to this airport provides customers with an extensive network to and from Colorado.
