JetSMART joins the AAdvantage loyalty program
American Airlines and Chile-based JetSMART have unveiled an exciting collaboration that will allow travelers on the Chilean airline to earn AAdvantage miles on flights throughout South America. The integration comes as JetSMART joins American Airlines’ loyalty program.
JetSMART passengers can now enroll in AAdvantage for free to start earning miles immediately.
Eventually, miles earned can be redeemed for a variety of rewards, including airfare, exclusive lounge access, upgrade options, and more. This alliance strengthens the benefits offered to loyal customers and expands rewards opportunities across the South American continent.
JetSMART Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Víctor Mejía shared his thoughts on the announcement of the partnership with American Airlines. He highlighted the significant benefits that this merger will bring to travelers of the Chilean airline, including the opportunity to accumulate AAdvantage miles on a larger network.
For their part, Estuardo Ortiz, CEO of JetSMART, and Scott Chandler, senior vice president of revenue management and loyalty at American Airlines, expressed a unanimous opinion on this collaboration. They both stressed that this strategic partnership is a major step to strengthen the benefits offered to members of their respective loyalty programs. They highlighted the importance of this integration that allows for better connectivity and offers more options and flexibility to travelers of both companies.
