American Airlines celebrates 40 years in London
American Airlines celebrated the fortieth anniversary of the opening of its flight to London. It was in May 1982 that the United States airline inaugurated its services to the capital of England, launching a direct flight from Dallas Fort Worth Airport and London Gatwick. And since then, AA has offered five frequencies per week between the two airports.
In contrast, American Airlines began flying to London-Heathrow in 1991, which today is the only London airport served by this airline operator.
To celebrate this special event, American Airlines has intensified its offer to London by offering up to three flights a day from ten cities in the United States, while offering plane tickets at exclusive rates, now available for reservation. on aa.com. Departure cities are: Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Raleigh-Durham, Dallas/Fort Worth, Charlotte and New York.
Return flights depart from Terminals 3 and 5, the largest terminals at London Heathrow Airport.
