Delta Air Lines is back on the line connecting New York to Nice
The airline Delta Air Lines will relaunch its seasonal service between New York and Nice in the spring, its second destination in France after Paris.
From March 27, 2022, the American company will offer five flights per week between Nice-Côte d’Azur and New York-JFK airport, operated by Boeing 767-400 that can accommodate 34 passengers in Business class in the new cabins, 20 in Premium and 184 in Economy (including 28 in Comfort Plus). Departures from France are scheduled at 12:00 p.m. to arrive at 3:05 p.m., “return” flights leaving the United States at 7:40 p.m. to land the next day at 10:00 a.m.
Delta will again be in competition on this axis with La Compagnie, plus the newcomer United Airlines whose flights will begin at the end of April (they were scheduled in May 2020 but had been canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic).
The SkyTeam alliance company is celebrating 30 years of serving Nice airport this year; it provides all its links in France as part of its transatlantic joint venture with Air France. “We are delighted to restore our Nice-New York service to reconnect this important French region with the United States,” Nicolas Ferri, vice president of Delta Europe, Middle East, Africa and India, said in a statement.
Delta Air Lines is supporting this return to the Côte d’Azur with reduced fares starting at €339* (taxes included) on all Main Cabin reservations. This offer is available for one week, from January 25 to January 31, 2022.
