Delta Air Lines launches a way to book and pay later

Delta Airlines, the airline is partnering with Amex to develop its “buy-no-pay-later” service. This new option is available on the company’s website.

American Express AMEX cardholders will now be able to choose the “Plan it” option when booking on the Delta Air Lines website. This service allows customers to split large purchases into monthly installments with fixed fees. The new feature will be available for flights of $100 or more.

“Our customers love flying with Delta for its award-winning service and appreciate the payment flexibility. Passengers always want to book their flights in a secure environment, which is available from American Airlines, which offers so many payment methods to pay Delta flight reservation fees,” said Anthony Cirri, executive vice president at American Express.

The possibility of flying on another company has been significantly reduced by the announcements of its partners in the SkyTeam alliance: Delta Air Lines, which serves neither Russia nor Ukraine, announced the withdrawal” with immediate effect of its codeshare agreement with Aeroflot.
