JetBlue will serve flights between Boston and London in the summer
JetBlue will serve direct flights to Boston from London-Heathrow and Gatwick this summer. The US carrier will offer a daily flight to both London airports from Boston Logan International Airport.
To ensure its frequencies to the capital of the United Kingdom, JetBlue will operate an A321LR type aircraft which can accommodate 138 passengers in two cabins (90 + 48).
JetBlue Airways does not yet have the date of the opening of reservations for those flights. However, it has announced its intention to rent the slots at Heathrow from the airline Qatar Airways which serves it five times a day.
JetBlue has already announced that it has launched flights to both London airports from New York – JFK. The maiden flight will take place on July 19, 2022.
The details are as follows, with all local times. Note the split schedule at Gatwick, a consequence of a lack of slots. JetBlue will have two departures to London on Tuesday in seven minutes.
