Austrian Airlines launches flight to Boston
Austrian Airlines has taken the next step in its international expansion by launching a non-stop long-haul flight from Vienna to Boston. Since July 1, Boston-Logan airport has benefited from six weekly frequencies from Vienna-Schwechat airport.
A new strategic link
This flight is operated by a Boeing 767, configured to accommodate 211 passengers. It offers a direct and comfortable connection between the two cities, allowing travelers to travel non-stop. The flight departs from Vienna at 10:40 a.m. and lands in Boston at 1:50 p.m., while the return flight departs the United States at 5:10 p.m. and lands in Vienna at 7:25 a.m. (local time). This route is served every day of the week except Tuesday and Thursday.
With this new route, the Austrian company strengthens its presence on the North American market. In total, the Austrian airline serves 18 intercontinental destinations, including several key cities in the United States such as Los Angeles, Chicago–O’Hare, Washington–Dulles, Newark and New York–JFK.
