United Airlines: Plans to open Boston-London route
United Airlines today announced plans to expand its global network with a non-stop route between Boston Logan International Airport and London Heathrow.
This new service builds on United’s growing presence in London and will thus provide East Coast customers with a convenient option to travel to London.
United plans to operate a premium Boeing 767-300ER on this route, an aircraft that offers a significant number of premium seats (46 Business Class and 22 Premium Plus).
The company says ‘monitor the recovery in demand’ and should soon finalize an opening date for this line in 2021.
