United Airlines announces a revolutionary new measure for members of its MileagePlus loyalty program: the ability to accumulate and combine their miles on a common account.

Now, up to five people can pool their miles into a single account, allowing unlimited transfers and redemptions between close friends, family members and more. This feature, available both on the United.com website and its mobile application, offers unparalleled flexibility to maximize the benefits of accumulated miles.

United Airlines’ initiative is aimed not only at current MileagePlus program members, but also at those who are not yet enrolled. This means that even travelers who have not yet joined the program can benefit from this innovation.

To take advantage of this feature, the American carrier simply requires you to designate a group leader aged 18 or over. This manager has the power to select the invited members, whether they are family members, close friends or other people in their entourage.
